Maximum Image Area
We do not output 'bleed' on film. The maximum image area is 3.5" x 4.5" on a 4x5 and 7.5" x 9.25" on 8x10 film.
Orientation and "Right Reading"
Specify 'landscape' or 'portrait' if applicable. We normally print "Right Reading" emulsion down, you can request otherwise.
The simplest option is choose either 4x5 or 8x10 film and Fill Frame. We'll choose the most appropriate resolution based on your image file and interpolate to the nearest LVT fixed optical resolution and fill to the Maximum Image Area of the film size you've chosen.
Choose this option if you do not want your image file interpolated as in the Fill Frame method. You can also specify a specific fixed optical LVT resolution and therefore determine the specific size your image will output to within the Maximum Image Area.
